The fish-smoking plant on Harstena is known far and wide for its smoked fish. The plant is located by the harbour below the kiosk. Here we smoke eel, flounder and salmon as well as whitefish and cod when available. We catch the fish ourselves and therefore the selection varies with our luck when fishing. If you want to accompany us recovering the fishing nets it is usually possible but you must be prepared to get up at four in the morning. There are lots to do before the fish is smoked and ready. Smoked fish is for many something that goes with a visit to Harstena. The selling is done adjacent to the kiosk. See no 2 on the key map.
